    The first release of graphedit 2, the C++/Qt edition of graphedit: an editor for graph-based languages whose syntaxes, views, language servers, importers and exporters are plugins.

    • Edit models on a canvas, with an undo tree, grid snapping, zooming and detachable editor tabs.
    • Syntaxes for labelled transition systems, Petri nets and simple graphs, and language servers that report diagnostics while models are edited (a JSON-RPC protocol modelled after the language server protocol).
    • Projects with search, run targets, import from and export to TAPAAL, and the files of graphedit 1.x.
    • An agent api for AI agents: graphedit-cli, a Model Context Protocol server and the running editor.
    • Plugins are built against the cmake package (find_package(graphedit 2)), or with graphedit as a subproject (e.g. CPM.cmake with GIT_TAG v2.0.0).
    • Packages: cmake --workflow --preset release (an archive and a self-extracting installer, or a Debian package).
