graphedit-tapn 1.0.0 Stable
released this
2026-10-11 17:25:26 +00:00 | 0 commits to main since this releasegraphedit-tapn 1.0.0 brings timed-arc Petri nets (TAPN), as TAPAAL knows them, to graphedit 2.2.0: edit them, import and export TAPAAL nets, and check and debug them with verifytapn-ls, the language server of TAPAAL's verification engine verifytapn.
Features
- The TAPN syntax: places with tokens of ages and invariants, transitions, arcs with intervals, transport arcs and inhibitor arcs. The models of a project are the components of one net, with shared places and transitions, and their declarations hold queries (
done: EF Done >= 1). See the syntax. - Views: places with their tokens, transitions as bars, double outlines for shared elements, and arcs with their intervals, transport groups and weights; labels with names and invariants that can be dragged.
- Editing: N names unnamed places and transitions (P0, T0...), S shares them.
- verifytapn-ls (installed separately, see below): diagnostics of everything that keeps verifytapn from verifying the net and of probable mistakes (dead transitions, places that are never marked, guards that the invariants rule out...), and a debugger that simulates the net step by step and follows the traces of the queries that verifytapn verifies. See verifytapn.
- TAPAAL import and export (
tapn): components, shared places and transitions, transport and inhibitor arcs, token ages, constants and queries; the nets of verifytapn as well. See TAPAAL nets.
Plugin libraries
libgraphedit-tapn.so(theTAPNplugin) andlibgraphedit-tapn-gui.so(TAPN Views) are the plugins of this release forlinux-x86_64, andgraphedit-tapn.dllandgraphedit-tapn-gui.dllthe ones forwindows-x86_64, for the plugin database. Install both libraries of your platform from the plugins panel of the editor (once the database lists them), or copy them into the plugin directory of the user (~/.local/share/graphedit/pluginson Linux).- Linux: built against Qt 6.5.3 on Ubuntu 24.04 (GCC 14) and linked with
-Bsymbolic(docker/plugins.Dockerfile, in a rootless chroot of the same system), where the tests of the plugin passed, including the end-to-end tests with verifytapn-ls. They load into graphedit 2 with Qt 6.5 or newer on Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 13 and newer systems; they were also tried with graphedit 2.2.0 built against Qt 6.11 on Arch Linux (itsgraphedit-cliwith verifytapn-ls, and its editor). - Windows: built with llvm-mingw against Qt 6.10.3 and the development files of the Windows package of graphedit 2.2.0, into which they load. They were tested with Wine: the
graphedit-cliof that package builds TAPN nets and imports and exports TAPAAL nets with them, and its editor shows the nets. verifytapn-ls does not run on Windows, so nets are neither checked nor debugged there.
verifytapn-ls is a program of its own: download
verifytapn-ls(a static program for Linux on x86-64) from the release of verifytapn with verifytapn-ls, make it executable and put it next to the plugins (or on thePATH, or name it inVERIFYTAPN_LANGUAGE_SERVER).File SHA-256 libgraphedit-tapn.so674be86e2dd9952717854c23e79021b09410f9600c6aa3e5a907b8f7b7e5b75dlibgraphedit-tapn-gui.soe5a8622f39cf5651007c108fdd47ead0b0fc5992cad7d0dba793247f3a42eb4agraphedit-tapn.dll54c6cc7c3c68dc29ec959c3c815f7414eb46d0cb38b10768c9990735af736299graphedit-tapn-gui.dllc7f324411f33a16ffcb68f509ca501d7cebe402ef50a1abb35628ec5b05ee383Downloads
